The head office in Niagara Falls, ON is looking for a dedicated, analytical and professional Programmer/Analyst to join the Information Technology team.


Taking ownership of the day-to day support and enhancement of existing critical business applications. Responsibilities will include the analysis, design, development, implementation and support of custom business applications software and integration to other packaged software.


  • Enhance and modify existing applications using the Oracle Developer 12c tool set, including Forms, PL/SQL, SQL. and other application tools.
  • Provide support to existing application modules to ensure that the current functionalities run properly.
  • Troubleshoot production problems, determining cause and problem resolution.
  • Participate in the evolution of critical systems as changes in business, process, and technology emerge.
  • Participate in project and team meetings while interacting and collaborating with team members and other departments as appropriate.
  • Develop function requirement specifications for new enhancements and applications.
  • Design and develop Oracle Forms, triggers, views, PL/SQL packages and procedures, and other objects in the Oracle database.
  • Develop, modify and optimize Crystal Reports.
  • Write high quality, well-documented and error-free code according to accepted standards.
  • Perform quality testing of changes to ensure they function correctly and match pre-determined test results in advance of user acceptance.
  • Tune Oracle Forms, Queries, PL/SQL procedures and other program code as needed.


  • University or College degree/diploma in Computer Science


  • Minimum 3+ years; experiences as an Application Developer using SQL, preferably Oracle Forms and PL/SQL
  • Experience developing Crystal Reports
  • Solid understanding of emerging technologies
  • Ability to navigate, troubleshoot and quickly develop in-depth technical understanding of new applications.
  • Experience with VB, HTML, XML, SQL Server and Oracle database administration, Java and/.or .NET technologies would be an asset.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Strong communication abilities in both written and verbal
