The Oshawa site is looking for an organized, hardworking, results-oriented and professional Project Scheduler to join our team.


SUMMARY OF THE ROLE:

The Project Scheduler is responsible for developing and maintaining the project schedule. They are responsible for recording and tracking contract and scope changes. The Project Scheduler will be responsible for supporting the project team with various project-related activities throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Owner
  • Project Management Team
  • Construction Managers, Company Managers
  • Site Employees

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with project management team, planners and estimators in developing project plans (cost, schedule, and risk, scope and change management plans)
  • Work with project management team in developing project's internal controls processes and procedures
  • Track and evaluate cost and schedule trends and variances and adjust forecasts, as required
  • Manage and maintain project risk register
  • Conduct analysis and prepare progress reports on costs, schedule and risks
  • Support project close-out reporting and documentation activities, as required

KNOWLEDGE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree, diploma, or related experience

SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

  • Minimum of 5 years scheduling on mid to large size projects
  • Security cleared with Ontario Power Generation (OPG)
  • Required knowledge of Primavera P6
  • Proven understanding of project management, engineering and construction processes preferred
  • Experience in cost and schedule development and monitoring practices and procedures preferred
  • Nuclear experience and Project Management Professional (PMP) credential considered an asset
